Biographical Information:
He was confirmed in Freinsheim in 1715 [96]. He married Sevina Boehm, the daughter of John Philip Boehm an early organizer of the Reformed Church in America [3]. In 1734 he was a resident of Hanover Township, Montgomery Co., PA, the same year he was naturalized. In the 1740's he purchased land in Bucks and Northampton (now Lehigh ) Counties. His farm called "First Fruits" was located on the road between the Kings Highway and the Great Swamp Reformed church. [6] He represented Northampton Co. in the Pennsylvania legislature from 1758 to 1760. His will made in 1771 lists his wife's name as Elizabeth. In 1771 he sold his farm to his son Heinrich. He was buried at New Goschenhoppen on December 27, 1775 [66].
